Shipping and 7 Plus Case Ctatus

Sorry for the delayed update. Thank you for your patience. All orders with only iPhone 7 cases have gone out. Tracking numbers were sent out, but BackerKit and Aftership were causing errors with them. If your order had an iPhone 7 Plus in it, it has not gone out. If you don’t have a tracking number for your order of only iPhone 7 cases -- not iPhone 7 Plus cases -- please send an email to [email protected].

iPhone 7 Plus cases have shipped out of China. They will be here early this week. As soon as they are here, we will begin shipping them to backers. You will be notified when your order ships and will be provided with a tracking number.

Product errors have been noted and we are working to resolve problem cases. Less than 30 out of 1,700 cases have been replaced. We feel that this is a very low number for a brand new product developed in a short amount of time. A solution has been found for the sensitive button problem. We suggest putting a 1 mm thick piece of paper on the bumper below the volume buttons. Please go to this link to see pictures: http://imgur.com/a/5k16z. Another issue that has come up is battery drainage. This is due to the chip inside Fuze needing power to run the DAC (digital to analog converter). We tested several phones by starting them at 100% battery, and then going all the way down until empty. Our results show that there is a battery drain, but it should be no more than 2% per hour.  Please see the table below for the test results.

Thank you for the comprehensive feedback on Fuze. We will be incorporating your input into the next version. On the next version, we are looking to use a single piece flexible TPU construction similar to Apple’s battery case. It will be MFi certified, allowing you to use all of the features of a normal audio jack. We will surely impress you on the next case if you give us a chance. We're grateful that you have supported us thus far, and we are asking that you allow us to gain your trust again.

Regards,

Fuze Team

Important Update. Please Read

We want to thank you for being patient and supporting us in this process. There are some problems being reported that we would like to address.

Due to not having MFi certification:

  • Microphone and inline controls do not work.
  • The Lightning port will only allow for charging. Syncing and audio transfer do not work.
  • An error message might pop up.

Please read the following to troubleshoot any other problems:

  • Only black cases are available. No other colors have been made. This was addressed in a previous update. We will be offering the other colors in our next batch available in Spring.
  • If you have fitment issues, please read the instructions on how to insert Fuze into the case. It might take one or two tries to get it fitted correctly.
  • If you hear audio in only one ear, make sure you fully insert the headphone jack into Fuze to ensure it is properly connected.
  • If an error message pops up when you first plug in your phone, reboot Fuze and your phone. We also suggest holding off from updating at this time.

If problems persist, please reach out to us. If you have any problems not stated here, please let us know.

Because of this, everyone who purchased the first version of Fuze will get the MFi version of Fuze for FREE. We will be implementing user feedback into the next version, so we ask that you let us know what you like and don’t like. Again, thank you so much for believing in us.

Regards,

Fuze Team

Shipping Update #2

Shipping went smoothly for iPhone 7 cases that were shipped. Almost all backers who ordered iPhone 7 cases have had their orders shipped. Tracking numbers were sent out yesterday via email. There are still some that are being prepared for shipment, so please bare with us as we get the final units out.

There was a delay for iPhone 7 Plus units. We were told that we would have them this week, but they have not arrived. This is due to very heavy smog in China that has caused many factories to shut down temporarily. Luckily, there is only one last step in producing the iPhone 7 Plus cases which is applying the color to them. The factory has restarted production but they are restricted to work for certain hours in the day to reduce emissions. Our manufacturer has assured us that units will be arriving next week and we will begin shipping out on Friday. We are deeply sorry for the delay. Thanks for your patience and support!

Fuze is heading to America!

Thank you so much for believing in us! We've been working extremely hard for the last few weeks to get to this point. Here are the pictures of units being prepared for shipment. When orders start going out in the next few weeks, you will get a tracking number in an email. All orders should be out in the first two weeks of January. We'll make sure to keep you updated on the process as it moves along.
